Brief Overview

Day 1:
Vietnam PVT Hanoi Arrival
Arrival at Hanoi airport by …….. Pick up and transfer to hotel for check in (check in time is from 14:00).
Rest of time free at leisure.
Accommodation at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2:

Vietnam : PVT Hanoi Half-day city tour – Water Pupppet Show

08:30: Pick up at your hotel, drive to West Lake – the biggest lake in Hanoi and you take a visit to
nearby Tran Quoc Pagoda. This is the oldest pagoda and be considered as a typical example of
Vietnamese Buddhism with its history of more than 1500 years. 10:00 Exist and drive you to a must-
visit site: Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & Museum, Ho Chi Minh Stilt House) &
One Pillar Pagoda. 12:00: Lunch at local restaurant. 14:00 Take a breather and explore the historical
courtyards, gardens, and pavilions of the Temple of Literature. This was Vietnam’s first One Pillar
Pagoda university, and it still has many statues honoring the graduates. 15:00 The next stop is Hoa
Lo Prison Museum, ironically nicknamed the ‘Hanoi Hilton’ by US prisoners of war (POWs) during the
American War. Most exhibits relate to the prison’s use up to the mid-1950s, focusing on the
Vietnamese struggle for independence from France. 16:00 Continue walking tour to visit the Hanoi
Old Quarter. You will get the best picture of the French-colonial architecture of old buildings and
family-run vendor shops there. In the evening: enjoy the performace of water puppet show, a
wonderful opportunity to learn about some of Vietnam’s mythology

Day 3:

Vietnam : PVT Ninh Binh Tour (Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Mua Cave)

At 7:30 AM, our guide and driver will pick you up from your accommodation, then, a 2.5-hour trip
through the Red River Delta to Ninh Binh. Upon arriving at Trang An wharf, you will board a small
Sampan boat, paddling for up to 3 hours on the river leading into breathtaking sights of limestone
cave formations, recognized by UNESCO as heritage sites. Have lunch breaks at a local restaurant,
then onward with the next destination. Before heading back to Hanoi, Hoa Lu was the national
capital for 41 years, dating far back to the 10th century. What is most noticeable about the site is
the plethora of temples that tell the story of royalty and fortune that blessed Hoa Lu. Your journey
of the day will end at 3:30 PM when a private car will take you back to your hotel.

Day 4:

Vietnam : PVT Halong Day Cruise (no guide)

Leave your hotel in Hanoi and travel for around 2.5 hours east to Halong City, which serves as the
entrance to Halong Bay. You will pass busy laborers tending to their rice fields using conventional
agricultural techniques along the way. Once at Tuan Chau Harbor, board a lovely wooden vessel for
a day trip to explore Halong Bay. Start a peaceful voyage through a breathtaking landscape of
hundreds of limestone mountains and enjoy seafood lunch while passing by the Dog Stone and the
Burning Incense islet. Stop at Ba Hang fishing town for kayaking or sit in a sampan boat rowed by
locals. We return to the ship after visiting Fighting-Cock islet and the Heavenly Palace (Thien Cung) cave, which has been exposed to the public since 1998 and contains stalagmites and stalactites.
Arrive at the harbor. Disembark and drive back to Hanoi

Day 5:

Vietnam : PVT Saigon Arrival

Located in the North of Vietnam, the “Indochina Pearl” – Ho Chi Minh City, or formerly known as
Saigon, is your first stop of the tour. On arrival, our friendly tour guide with private driver will
welcome you at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Just a short transfer to the city center. Check in
your hotel and then take your free time at leisure.

Day 6:

Vietnam : PVT Cu Chi Tunnels Half-day Tour

You will head to Cu Chi Tunnels, the most amazing underground construction in Vietnam. After a
brief introduction from the local guide, you can spend hours wandering this network. After finishing
the tour we will come back to Sai Gon the largest city in Vietnam to get some feeling of the modern
and busy life here.

Day 7:

PVT Mekong Delta Full-day: Vinh Trang Pagoda – My Tho 

Pick up at hotel and transfer to My Tho to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Continue to My Tho Boat Station,
board on Cruise on the Mekong river for sightseeing: the view of the river’s banks, fish – floating
market and islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, Phoenix. Land on Unicorn island: Visit a bee-farm and
enjoy honey-tea. Visit coconut candy workshop, taste fresh candies. Get on an electric on the
countryside road. Visit an orchard of tropical fruits, enjoy seasonal fruits and listen to Southern
traditional music. Discover natural canals by rowing boat. Have lunch at the local restaurant. Return
to MyTho boat station and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 7:

PVT Saigon City Full- day Tour 

To start a day trip in Ho Chi Minh City, nothing is better than taking the morning trip to visit
Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace that was built on the sight of the
former Norodom palace. Continue the journey, you will be introduced with the Notre Dame
Cathedral. This work is a replica of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris with building materials are
imported entirely from France. The architecture of the church is built on the architectural style of
J.Bourard which is Roman mixed with Gothic style architecture, including churches, bell towers and
parks outside. With specially designed, the cathedral can withstand up to 10 times the entire interior
church structure.In the next destination, you can see the beautiful structures from the French
Colonial times – the historic Central Post Office that is one of the typical buildings. Followed by the
remarkable site of Ho Chi Minh city is the War Remnants Museum that has a vast display of both the
Indochina wars. In the afternoon, you stop by the City Theater located at the end of Le Loi Street
(District 1, HCMC). It has a neoclassical style inspired by the design of the Opera House in Paris,
which is a charming and elegant artwork highlighting the heart of the vibrant Saigon. The last
destination in this journey is Ben Thanh Market. The most prominent symbol of the market is the
clock image at the south end of the market, like the Big Ben clock in London. From all of that, this
oldest market in Saigon is a great destination for you to pick up some gifts for friends and family
